  • According to what key a certain song is in, I play a different bass. I use the Stingray on songs that are in the keys of B and C because of the low B string. I use the Jag on everything in the keys of A, D, F, or G.
  • I like a really middy and growly tone out of my basses, but because of my rig, i can still get that great warm tube low-end that everyone wants in a bass sound.
  • On Where Saints are Sinners, the Stingray was used exclusively through a GK-1001RB. On The Steeple EP, I used the Jaguar on all 3 songs running through a sansamp bass DI.
