Also, Nathan has written and recorded a song in response to the earthquake in Haiti. As a band we want to do whatever we can to help the people of Haiti. We encourage you to do the same. There are many effective ways you can help, and one of those is donating to reputable organizations who are and have been involved in Haiti relief. Check out haitissong.com for the opportunity to do just that. With a donation, you will be able to download “Haiti’s Song” and in turn give to a people in need. All seems lost, but in tragedy there’s hope, salvation in the midst of our despair. May the devastation in Haiti remind us of the redemptive act of God that through the cross of Christ a devastated people were healed. We pray that in light of the gospel we actively seek to give to, pray for, and serve the people of Haiti as Christ served us.

I’ve realized that blogging is difficult to do when there is no time to do it. 2010 starts a new phase for myself and the band. Expect more news and content. Hope everyone is doing well. We are so close to finishing our demo. It sounds sweet. Sometimes new direction is good direction. We’re excited to be able to get our music to everyone in some new and affordable ways. Soon you will be able to download our new music for little or no cost. Be praying for us as we work toward booking next summer. We want to be sensitive to God’s direction for our ministry, and we feel called to hit the road and make alot of new friends. Tomorrow we finish recording a new demo. We’ve recorded three new original songs that we are pretty excited about. We will be making these songs available for digital download on our website. It’s been a great summer and we are ready to get back to work. Thanks to Will Mckelvey for working with us to get these songs out. Thanks for keeping up with us. We could always use your prayers.

We are home for the summer.  We finished up beach camp and then moved on to SMBC’s camp at Horn’s Creek.  We had two incredible weeks where God forever changed students’ lives.  It is so humbling to be a part of what God does at these events.  I pray we never get tired of what we get to witness.  We are currently praying and working toward major changes in our lives as a band.  Our desire is that God would allow us to minister full time.  He has put some incredible opportunities before us and we need prayer that we will make wise decisions in accordance to His will.  It’s an exciting time for us right now, and we thank everyone for following us and keeping our ministry in your prayers.  This summer was amazing and if you were there and were able to hang out with us we appreciate your new friendship.  Thanks for letting us be a part of your life.

We are having a great week down here in Panama City Beach. The kids are awesome and responding to what God is telling them. Pretty awesome!

In two weeks we will be In Panama City leading worship at Vintage camp. We’re praying that students will allow God to change their perspective of their own lives and how they fit into His kingdom. We pray that God opens their eyes to the world around them so they can love it as God loves them. Pray for us that we will be led leaders, good listeners, and good friends. We are excited about what is in store in Florida. Thanks for listening, and pray with us.

In preparation for camps this summer we have been writing a ton of new music. We hope to have some of it for sale on our website soon as well as our last ep. We aren’t used to all living in the same town, so now that we do it’s great to finally be able to write music together. Get ready for some smooth sounds and new ways to listen to them.
